Discussion Group
We meet fortnightly on Thursday mornings from 10am to 12noon. The venue is in Derby Central Library rear meeting room, entered from the double doors in the Strand.
Members actively participate in an interesting and lively discussion. The subjects are chosen by the members in advance of each session, and include topical titles of general interest, some being more serious than others.
Recent examples are: "Should Fox Hunting be banned?", "Our Sovereign Pound", "China Today", "Progress in the NHS", and "Behaviour and Morals in Society".
New members can be assured of a warm welcome
